The Sacramento Kings announced Sunday the team has activated the 2015-16 option on Ben McLemore’s rookie contract. The 21-year-old wing will make an estimated $3.1 million next season according to ShamSports.com.
McLemore is entering his second NBA season after being drafted seventh overall out of Kansas in 2013. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard averaged 8.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game in 82 regular season appearances (55 starts) last year. He is slated to open this season as a starter.
