The Sacramento Kings announced this afternoon that Eric Moreland has been recalled from the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League for a second time this season.
Moreland made the Sacramento roster out of training camp but was re-assigned to Reno on November 4. The power forward averaged a double-double in two games with the Bighorns before returning to the Kings on November 17.
The 24-year-old undrafted rookie was optioned to Reno again on November 21. Before his latest call up, Moreland scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds in a loss to the Bakersfield Jam on Friday.
Moreland has yet to appear in an NBA regular season game. He will provide insurance for the Kings with their recent rash of injuries.
