The Sacramento Kings announced this morning that Eric Moreland has rejoined the team. The 22-year-old undrafted free agent made the Kings roster out of training camp, but failed to make an appearance in four regular season games before being sent down to the Reno Bighorns, Sacramento’s D-League affiliate, on November 4.
In his 13-day stint with Reno, Moreland started two games and averaged 15 points, 13 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 0.5 block in 28.5 minutes per contest. The Bighorns went 1-1 in the span.
With Moreland back, the Kings roster remains at 14 players, one under the league maximum. The 6-foot-10, 218-pound forward will struggle to find minutes in the Sacramento frontcourt rotation barring an injury.
