I'm likely to make several attempts at where things stand with the 53 man roster, but currently this is my prediction based on how things have played out in camp. Keep in mind this 53 man roster doesn't factor in players from other teams the Saints may pick off waivers during final cuts which typically happens to at least one or two roster spots. I've also designated eight guys for the practice squad, which assumes these guys are not picked up by someone else. Here we have the following::

Based on this round of cuts, the biggest names are Corey White who started to open the season last year, veteran Chris Chamberlain, Seneca Wallace, Tyrunn Walker who made the team last year and Jason Smith. The biggest surprises are Eric Martin, Rod Sweeting and Andy Tanner who have impressed so far in camp this year.
Right now I view Sweeting, Martin, Tanner, Nick Toon and Chris Carr as rising players. The bubble players are Tyrunn Walker, David Hawthorne, Isa Abdul-Quddus, Jim Leonhard, Corey Whte, Seneca Wallace, Baraka Atkins, Rufus Johnson, Bryce Harris, Saalim Hakim, Chris Chamberlain, Will Herring, Andrew Tiller and Kenny Stills.
