So last week’s bold predictions came true. As in they were bold. None of them were correct. Some were even so bold that called for actions by players that did not even see the field. That is pre-season for you. The real season will have some better calls I assure you. Neer was close with the turnover predictions. Only he called 3+ INTs instead of 3+ fumble recoveries.
So here are this week’s bold predictions.
Andrew Juge
- Brees throws more INTs than TDs.
- Saints are penalized 4 times or less.
Neer Shah
- The first Saints kick return will end in a Saints TD.
- Cam Jordan and Junior Galette share 3 sacks between them.
Andrew Doyle
- Brees plays 2 series capped off with 2 TDs to Brandin Cooks.
- Byrd not only plays, but gets a pick-six off Luck.
Marijn Pessers
- Andrew Luck will be Sacked at least 3 times in Q1.
- Brees will overthrow Morgan, Stills and Cooks all at least once.
Brian Pavek
- Dimke kicks a 55 yard fieldgoal.
- Drew Brees dunks on the goalpost after a Jimmy Graham TD.
