Another week another win. Wait? Am I talking about next week? I probably am. Having said that I expect a total blowout. Luckily there is Andrew to reverse jinx this for the Saints. You’ll see his prediction at the end of the post.
Last week Patrick had a pick correct though I think his predictions are more like “attainable” then “bold”. The fact that he is still not often right says something for the Saints. They did go over 100 yards rushing, barely. 103 in total.
On our contributors a Saints win was predicted by cabletonka and CharlieB721 said the Saints would get over 350 passing and over 125 rushing. He fell short on the rushing part but was close (Can anyone explain to me how, accoring to ESPN box score, Brees as the only passer has 359 yards passing while the ream has 335?).
A lot of bold predictions included INTs this week. But this game had 0 turnovers. Maybe that will change next week?
Andrew:
- Demarco Murray breaks the NFL rushing record for a game.
[Which is currently 296 yards if I am not mistaken] - Malcolm Jenkins scores more touchdowns than the Saints offense.
Brian:
- Brandin Cooks catches 2 Touchdows.
- Hau’oli Kikaha gets 3 Sacks.
Patrick:
- Delvin Breaux gets a Pick.
- Murphy returns a kick off for a Touchdown.
Marijn:
- The Saints defense scores at least twice.
- The Compton curse will backfire and Spoles will drop out of the game with an injury.
