Again we were spot on. Way too bold. So far only 1 of our 30 Bold predictions has come true. But this is the real season. Games that matter. Brees will take every snap and now we can say some real stuff about the game.
Funny detail, when I called for bold predictions all 4 of the other guys mentioned a bold prediction including Cooks. I asked 2 of them if they wanted to change that prediction. Anyway, could be we are going to see something special from Cooks.
This week maybe we will see some of these come true though some of them have less a chance of happening then a repeat of the Meech-around.
Andrew Juge
- Jimmy Graham comes up with a creative work around celebration on a TD and gets flagged anyway.
- Brandin Cooks has about 150 yards receiving.
Neer Shah
- The Saints defense scores 2 TDs.
- Cooks leads the NFL in receiving yards by a receiver after week 1.
Andrew Doyle
- Nick Toon gets over 100 yards and at least a score.
- The Saints limit Julio and Roddy to under 100 combined yards receiving.
Marijn Pessers
- Ingram will have 100 yards rushing and a receiving TD.
- Jimmy Graham will have at least 2 TDs, of which one will be a rushing TD.
Brian Pavek
- P-rob and White each get a pick.
- Drew Brees throws 5tds in the first half. (Kinda never ever done before by anyone… maybe this is too bold?)
