Saints Nation Guru – Week 5 – Eagles

So was that crappy for our drafting status or what!? So lets get totally optimistic again this week with the questions and keep that going till the end of the year and we’ll end 13-3. That sounds fair! Whatever happens I am glad the rookies are doing so great. Especially Kikaha and Anthony, but also the DTs that are replacing that unforgettable player that got traded… I’ll have to google his name. Those guys and our flag generating secondary are really something! They can be a solid foundation to build a winning defense on. This week’s questions will be on how great our new defensive players are.

First the result of last week. Morstead did punt, but it was close. Had the Cowboys received first and Morstead had aggravated his quad on the opening kick-off it could have been Yes, no punt for him. Instead you all were right, the answer was no. There were 2 30+ yard plays. Coleman had 1 catch for 30 at the end of the game and of course Spiller with the 80 yard TD to end the game. The Saints had 3 sacks (Kikaha, Anthony and Davison) and 0 turnovers (by both teams, I should have specified takeaways, but that is for next time).

Only 1 had 3 answers correct and that was cabletonka! Congratulations! You are our guru.
This week’s anti-guru is a last minute entry by Stolfi10. He had only 1 correct as had a lot of you. But he was way off with 11 scores for the tiebreaker where the Saints had 7 scoring moments made (3 TD, 2 PAT, 2FG).
