Rob Ryan has brought another former player of his in Dallas to join the Saints. Defensive end Kenyon Coleman, familiar with both the scheme and the coach, will be joining the Saints as a 3-4 defensive end. Coleman played in 7 games, starting 5, for the Cowboys last year.
Coleman is 33 and at the twilight of his career at this point, though he was a full time starter back in 2011. At this point my guess is this is more for adding depth with a stout 3-4 end, which is light with Junior Galette and Martez Wilson likely moving to linebacker.
Welcome to the team Kenyon!
