When it comes time for the Saints to announce their selection in the 3rd round it will be a familiar face breaking the official news. Former special teams ace and ALS survivor Steve Gleason will be the person to deliver the pick. Perhaps that will wash out some of the bitter taste from Roger Goodell announcing the 15th overall pick. This is another cool moment for Gleason and his history with the team. Few players in team history is more adored by the fan base, ALS or no ALS. It'll be a pretty cool moment and I can't wait for it.
