A notable absence from the list was offensive tackle Tavon Rooks, who was selected by the Saints in the sixth round of the NFL draft in May.
The Saints signed running back Edwin Baker, kicker Dustin Hopkins, tight end Orson Charles, receiver Willie Snead, fullback Toben Opurum and offensive linemen Mike Brewster and Andrew Miller on Monday, the first day clubs were allowed to sign free agents.
