Don’t ask me how they found the cap space for ink Nick Fairley on a 1 year deal, but Mickey Loomis is working his magic again. Fairley should be a 4 down player and immediate starter for the Saints and he represents an upgrade over Kevin Williams at this point. Ian Rapoport broke the news:

Guard and pass rusher are now the two areas that remain major needs. This has been a nice little offseason for the Saints, though, and these pick ups and liberated how they can approach the draft without reaching.
