This was a lot to pay for a tight end that hasn’t produced at that price but it’ll be nice for the passing game. I’m not a huge fan of this move based on the price, but I do like the player.
The last three years Coby Fleener has caught 52, 51 and 54 balls. He hasn’t missed a game in that span. I believe he’ll post bigger numbers in the Saints offense. He also has 15 touchdowns over the last three years and I think he’ll be a valuable weapon in the red zone. His blocking is average and he does have concentration issues at times, so that will be something he needs to perfect.
