The Philadelphia Phillies are finalizing a deal to trade shortstop Jimmy Rollins to the Los Angeles Dodgers, reports Jim Salisbury of CSN Philly.
Industry source says Rollins to Dodgers is done deal.

It has been a while since I have said much about the Phillies on this forum, and I just so happen to be covering the desk for College Football Talk tonight. So while the details of this trade are ironed out and this all sets into our collective mindset, I will check back with my thoughts tomorrow. Rollins was my personal favorite Phillies player, even with his faults. Seeing him ina different uniform will be strange, but if this is a move to start laying the foundation for the future success of the franchise, so be it.
