Sam Bradford working through offensive woes

Dallas Cowboys v Philadelphia Eagles

Sam Bradford being traded to the Eagles in the offseason was a bit of a shocker. In hindsight however, it was a great move by Chip Kelly.

His offense is similar to the one Bradford ran at Oklahoma, a shotgun-quick strike offense.

So far, in eight quarters, Bradford has been impressive for only two of them, the other six- yikes. Bradford all but has disappeared through six quarters, not firing a single touchdown pass as the Eagles offense has been atrocious, with nothing but big penalties, dropped passes, poor blocking, and a ton of three-and-outs.

In the first half of both games this season, the Eagles have just three points scored. In two full games- both losses, Bradford has two touchdown passes, four interceptions, and one fumble.

On Sunday against Dallas, Bradford and the Eagles offense was flat out embarrassing. They could do nothing right, and when they caught a break (two forced fumbles), the returned the favor with an interception in the end zone and a fumble by Bradford, who wasn’t ready for a snap.

The Eagles have looked bad so far. They can’t run, they can’t score points in the first half, and above all, they are 0-2 with a QB that was thought to be one of the missing pieces to the Chip Kelly puzzle.
