As announced at the city council meeting last Thursday, there are a few arena-related engagements happening this week. If you are able to attend and participate, here are the details.
August 8 (Today)
- WHAT: Town Hall Meeting
- WHEN: 6 PM
- WHERE: Amtrak Station – 401 I Street, Sacramento, CA
- WHY: A site report on intermodal transportation and its relationship with the arena is being released today. You have the chance to relay any questions, comments or concerns to Councilmember Rob Fong about how they will work together. Fong is chair of the Think Big Sacramento site-subcommittee
August 11 (Thursday)
- WHAT: Town Hall Meeting
- WHEN: 6 PM
- WHERE: Natomas Charter School – 4600 Blackrock Drive, Sacramento, CA
- WHY: To discuss the economic outlook of Natomas without an active entertainment-and-sports complex. A subcommittee focused on the future of the current Power Balance Pavilion site was announced two weeks ago. It is co-chaired by Councilmember Angelique Ashby and California State Assemblyman Dr. Richard Pan.
A reminder that the 100-day study period concludes at the beginning of next month following Labor Day Weekend.
