Cincinnati players have combined for 5 conference player of the week honors. The 3 by Justin Jackson came in a row. So have the two for Sean Kilpatrick. SK had outings of 26 points on 8-15, 5-7 at the line, 5-8 from 3, 12 boards, 6 assists, in a win over UConn and 22 on 5 of 18, 9-11 at the line, 3-12 from 3, with 6 boards, 3 assists and a steal against SMU. Add it together and you get 24 points, 9 boards, 4.5 assists. That's a pretty damn good week. Congratulations to Sean Kilpatrick.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly men's basketball honors for the week-ending Feb. 9.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sean Kilpatrick • Sr. • G • Cincinnati
Kilpatrick averaged 24.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 4.0 3-point field goals per game for Cincinnati, which went 1-1 last week. He scored 26 points, including 17 in the second half, with 12 rebounds and six assists in a 63-58 win against No. 22/rv UConn. Kilpatrick added a game-high 22 points with six rebounds and three assists in a 76-55 loss at SMU. Kilpatrick leads the American Athletic Conference in scoring at 19.8 points per game and has been the Bearcats' top scorer in each of their last 11 games.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Moore averaged 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks as SMU went 2-0 last week, capped by a 76-55 win against No. 7/7 Cincinnati. Moore had a team-high 15 points, going 4-of-4 from the field and 7-of-7 from the free throw line, along with two assists, two blocks and a steal against the Bearcats. He added 10 points and six rebounds in a 75-52 win against Temple.
