Season Grades: Chris Simms grades the Los Angeles Rams an A-

The Los Angeles Rams have won three straight games as they have proved they might be turning the corner here in their new city. The Rams started the season with a solid D+, but have worked their way up and have impressed NFL Analyst Chris Simms.

The former quarterback graded every team through Week 4 of the season, in which he gave the highest grade to the Rams.

Here’s the complete breakdown of the Los Angeles Rams grading.

Offense: Case Keenum is a much better downfield thrower of the football than I initially give him credit for. Those throws aren’t loosening anything up for Todd Gurley, though. Offensive coordinator Rob Boras’ best offensive player had 33 yards on 19 carries. That’s not a stat line that suggests sustainable success.

Defense: Aaron Donald is playing at a Defensive Player of the Year level. When he’s unstoppable, this team gets turnovers. And this team just turned the Arizona Cardinals over five times.

Grade: A-

With a win against Buffalo Sunday, that A- might turn into an A+.
