SEC Media Days begin this week, and the Coaches have released their preseason All-SEC teams. South Carolina placed 5 players on the first and second team, good for 5th in the league.
Defensive End Cliff Matthews and Cornerback Stephon Gilmore were honored as first team selections, and Cornerback Chris Culliver, Defensive Lineman Ladi Ajiboye and Wide Receiver Alshon Jeffery were second team honorees.
Cliff Matthews was second team All-SEC after last season.
