This week, we asked our readers and followers which 2015 Florida State football opponent they were most concerned about.
From the Staff
On the surface, the toughest game for Florida State may be an October 24th contest against Georgia Tech, but the game I’m most concerned about is the November 14th match-up in Death Valley against Clemson.
Sure, FSU has gotten the better of Clemson in each of the last three years including a victory last season without starting quarterback Jameis Winston, but the annual contest with the Tigers may be the biggest on the schedule this season. The Seminoles could lose to the Yellow Jackets in Atlanta and still reach Charlotte, but it will be hard to do likewise against Clemson.
Since 2009, the annual winner of the FSU-Clemson game has gone on to represent the ACC’s Atlantic Division in the conference title game every year. While the argument could be made that Georgia Tech is the tougher opponent, Clemson still looks to be the bigger game.

This season will be interesting to say the least but unfortunately I think we are bound to lose a few games. I could list several teams that may end up being popular choices: Clemson, Georgia Tech, even our rivals Miami, Florida and N.C. State. The game that concerns me the most is the game at Boston College. A few reasons but primarily due to the fact that it is early in the season and anyone involved in athletics knows it takes some time for a team to gel and develop an identity. Also concerning is the fact that the game is in Chestnut Hill on a Friday night during a shortened week with a road trip. I am hopeful like most FSU fans that we can navigate the early part of our schedule and who knows? Maybe they’ll scare us into being the best team we can be. They sure did in 2013.
