Florida State may have been idle in Week 4, but that did not stop the Seminoles from continuing to fall in the human polls.

FSU fell one spot in the AP Poll from 10th to No. 11 and was down two spots in the Amway Coaches Poll to No. 9.

Big Ten teams Ohio State and Michigan State were first and second in the polls respectively. In the AP Poll, the Spartans were followed by Ole Miss, TCU and Baylor. In the Coaches Poll, the top 5 was rounded out by TCU, Baylor and then Ole Miss at No. 5.

In the AP Poll, Notre Dame was sixth with UCLA seventh, Georgia eighth, LSU ninth and Utah just ahead of the Seminoles at No. 10. In the Coaches Poll, Georgia, Notre Dame and LSU sit in front of ninth-ranked FSU while UCLA rounded out the top 10. Notre Dame and LSU each jumped the Seminoles in this week’s Coaches Poll.

Florida State is now one of just two ACC teams ranked in either human poll. Atlantic division rival Clemson is one spot behind the Seminoles at No. 12 in the AP Poll and two spots back of Florida State at No. 11 in the Coaches Poll. Georgia Tech was 20th in each poll, but dropped out after losing to Duke on Saturday.

The Seminoles will look to improve to 4-0 for the fourth straight year as they visit Wake Forest on Saturday.
