Series Preview: Brewers (43-35) @ Twins (43-36)

Milwaukee continues its road trip with three games in the Twin Cities to face interleague rival Minnesota.  The Twins have won their last 9 games–3 apiece against the Nationals, Diamondbacks, and Padres.  Prior to this stretch, the Brewers took 2 of 3 against their formal AL rival, averaging 7 runs per game.
Pitching Probables:
Friday, 6/27, 7:10 p.m. CT: RHP Seth McClung (5-3, 3.79) vs. RHP Nick Blackburn (6-4, 3.68)
Saturday, 6/28, 6:10 p.m. CT: LHP Manny Parra (7-2, 4.29) vs. RHP Livan Hernandez (8-4, 5.23)
Sunday, 6/29, 1:10 p.m. CT: RHP Ben Sheets (9-1, 2.59) vs. RHP Kevin Slowey (4-6, 3.96)
Things to look for:
1. The Brewers didn’t face Twins’ ace Livan Hernandez earlier this year…do they remember his style enough to overcome Hernandez’s 6-0, 3.86 mark at home this year? And can Manny Parra overcome his 2-2, 7.24 mark on the road this year?
2. Amazingly, Ben Sheets has not pitched against the Twins since 2004, presumably giving Sheets a bit of an edge.
3. Seth McClung allowed just 4 hits over 6 IP against the Twins earlier this year…can he repeat that in the Metrodome?
