Departing East Carolina quarterback and 2014 AAC Offensive Player of the Year Shane Carden sent a message, via twitter, to NFL scouts on Tuesday: I’m ready to show that I’m more than a system quarterback.
At least that’s what the QB’s tweet suggests. College quarterbacks coming out of the Air Raid offense often receive consistent criticism for playing in a system built for putting up big numbers, and that constitutes throwing from the shotgun formation 90 percent of the time.
Carden wants every scout who doubts his ability at the next level to know that his “feet [feel] nice from under center.”
