By now many of you have heard that Shaq is likely out for tomorrow's game against the Detroit Pistons. Chris Forsberg of ESPNBoston.com has the latest info on Shaq, Jermaine O'Neal and other noteworthy items about the C's. During Comcast SportsNet Tonight's 6:30 telecast, Gary Tanguay reported that Shaq did not even make the trip to Detroit.
The video below is from Friday night's game against the New York Knicks that shows Shaq's injury. Amare Stoudemire drives to the hoop and their knees collide awkwardly. Shaq goes down, but it should be noted that this happened in the third quarter, and he did return to play in the fourth quarter. I doubt this will be a major issue going forward, just wanted to share the footage:
