Today I was looking through an atlas to figure out possible places to live. On the Atlanta page I saw two little words that made me freak out with awesomeness:
Oglethorpe University
It’s a real school, too (the website is here.) I kind of want to call up the admissions
office and ask them ridiculous “Slap Shot” related questions– Do you have to buy them a soda after the game? If your grades are bad, do you get sent back to Canada? Is your school nickname the Bulldogs?
According to the site, it seems like a nice litle liberal arts school. However, I’d be making HOTLANTA and get crunk jokes so much, I’d surely get punched in the face after about a day.
Under “Student Life”, I found out that an Oglethorpe Student was on “Yo Momma”.
This school just keeps getting better and better!
Money quote: He chose Oglethorpe because of the small classes, its
location in Atlanta and the weather. “I wanted to go for a change of weather from Florida. Sweltering heat and 90+ degree humidity is not attractive at all.”
