Dumb question, but we’ve all been to that sports bar that has framed jerseys on the walls, right? Well…the Salt hill Pub was one of those places.
Until recently.
You see, up until a couple of weeks ago, the Hanover, New Hampshire, pub had a framed Carlton Fisk Boston Red Sox jersey on display, but, well…you guessed it.
The jersey, roughly 2½ by 3 feet in size, hung about six feet up on the wall near the bar. It was given to co-owner Josh Touhy ten years ago. Suffice it to say…dude wants it back.
“People take stuff. It happens. But this isn’t a beer mirror or a flag. It has sentimental value,” Tuohy said. “This means more to me than whoever took it could possibly know.”
This is why we can’t have nice things, kids.
