Notables from August 5:
- The photo above is from our friend Josh Winslow’s gallery of the Buckeyes checking in for the start of camp. I wonder in Miami’s offensive linemen (anyone we know?) are as ready as Cam is.
- Not everyone showed up today- Rod Smith is expected later in the week, after finishing up some stuff to be fully enrolled.
- Nic DiLillo was also missing, but not a surprise since he was left off of the 105 man roster. Ken Gordon speculates that this may be a message to the TE.
- Great news for Tyler Moeller, part one: He checked into camp today, and is ready to go. Even as a huge homer, I want Tyler to have an amazing season.
- Great news for Tyler Moeller, part two: His assailant was sentenced today.
- Continuing on our theme of “Sharing is Caring“, we share this news about the University of West Virginia- Seems they’re in some hot water regarding stuff a former coach did while he was there. I sure hope his next employers are aware of what they might be getting into.
- First conference championship game? Indianapolis. Logical choice, since there’s no chance of it being a home game.
