The Sixers have acquired shooting guard Nik Stauskas, along with Jason Thompson and Carl Landry from the Kings.
Nik Stauskas was taken 8th overall in the 2014 draft, and after a dissapointing rookie season, has found a new home in Philly. Jason Thompson, who’s a Camden native, and Carl Landry were also traded to the Sixers. It was reported that the Sixers have traded away overseas players and a 2nd rounder to the Kings. We’re not exactly sure who the Sixers sent to Sacramento, however, we do know that they own the rights to Dario Saric, Jordan McRae, Arsalan Kazemi, Arturas Giudaitis, Vasjile Micic, Luka Mitrrovic, and Chu Chu Maduabaum.
Thompson and Landry’s contracts combine for approximately $13 million for the upcoming season. Whether these 2 bigs are here to stay is yet to be seen.
Let’s all welcome Sauce Castillo to Philly.
