Tonight, the Philadelphia 76ers took on the Milwaukee Bucks as it was the beginning of the Sixers five game home stand. The Sixers are coming off a successful mini road trip where they went 3-0.

Tonight’s game was dominated by Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings, who had a great game and gave the Sixers fits. Jennings was 12 of 21 from the field, had 33 points, five rebounds, and eight assists. His backcourt mate, Monta Ellis added 18 points, seven assists, and five rebounds.

For the Sixers, they got their starting shooting guard Jason Richardson back from a sprained ankle that he suffered in which he missed five games. Tonight, Richardson played 36 minutes and had 20 points. Point guard Jrue Holiday continued his tremendous play as he led the team in scoring tonight with 25 points but he also had eight turnovers.

An issue that seemed to plague the Sixers tonight was points in the paint as the Bucks would get 42 and they would only get 24. Is this the Andrew Bynum factor maybe? Who knows? We will see as the season continues. The Sixers would go on to lose tonight 105-96 to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Sixers record is now 4-3 and the next time they play is on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm as they will take on the Detroit Pistons at the Wells Fargo Center.
