Missed the big screen premiere of “Small Market, Big Heart” last January?  Your second chance comes next week.

The documentary that chronicles Sacramento’s fight to keep the Kings will be screened again at the Crest Theater in eight days, as part of the Sacramento Film and Music Festival.  The film is scheduled to play next Friday, Aug. 17, at 6:30 pm at the historic K Street venue.

Since its debut in January, “Small Market, Big Heart” has gone on to garner some prestigious recognition.  The movie racked up honors from the 2012 Los Angeles Movie Awards for “Best Editing” and “Award For Excellence”.

An annual showcase since 2000, the Sacramento Film and Music Festival’s mission is “to celebrate and showcase filmmaking from around the world and sponsor the art of film in California’s Capital region”, according to its website.
