Sneaker Rewind: Larry Bird’s Team USA Converse

In the spirit of the 4th, today’s Sneaker Rewind focus on Larry Birds Dream Team Converse.  Larry Bird put the exclamation point on his hall of fame career in the 1992 Summer Olympics.  Bird wore a player exclusive pair of Converse on the way to a gold metal. The shoes featured the Dream Team logo on the tongue.  They also had Bird’s olympic number 7 embroidered on the heel collar.  This autographed pair is owned by world renowned sneaker collector Air Randy.
