Chris Drake steps in with his first ever article as a fan that turned into becoming a part of tBBC staff . . ,
Being a fan of a perennial college football power is great and horrible at the same time. It’s great when your team is rolling over teams but it’s horrible when you lose to an unranked team with a mediocre head coach. The latter was the case this past Saturday night.

2018 Tight End to visit for Michigan Game:
While the Buckeyes look to wrap up their 2017 recruiting class, they are turning their attention to the 2018 class hoping to add to the two commitments they have already in Brian Snead and Emory Jones. One of the targets on the Buckeye recruiting board is 4-star tight end Mustapha Muhammad from Missouri City, Texas. Muhammad currently lists 28 offers from the likes of Clemson, LSU, Michigan, Texas A&M and Alabama. He has already made several unofficial visits this season to Texas A&M, Texas, TCU and most recently Oklahoma. He spoke with 11W Tuesday and said that he has set up an unofficial visit to come see the Buckeyes when they play Michigan on November 26th.

Scott gives us the why the Buckeyes will make the CFP this year, guaranteed . . ,
Write this down.
Chisel it in stone.
Ohio State will make the College Football Playoff.
Guaranteed.
I have no doubt that Urban Meyer will fix whatever may be wrong with the Buckeyes. And I have no doubt that the Buckeyes will be full of piss and vinegar when they take the field Saturday against Northwestern and we will see the Buckeyes we saw earlier this year.

WVa sits down at the round-table with a few of our fans, Angie, Dianne and former Ohio State basketball player Eddie Days . . ,
(Deep Breath) Knowing now that JT Barrett actually had a good night statistically and is the leader we thought he was, what really went wrong with Ohio State’s offense? Or is it really JT?
Eddie – I don’t think it is JT, I think he is the leader we need. At times this game had a ‘last year Michigan St feel in a play-calling sense, but especially with the halftime lead, it felt like we would be fine. That being said, we played a very opportunistic team and they took advantage of our lack of execution and bad 4th quarter. I think sometimes we relied on JT to make a big play and it can be hard for any star player in any sport to make something happen when both teams know what’s coming. Just like Zeke and Michigan St last year, I think Curtis Samuel could have been implemented more and there could have been more variation in play calling when things became stagnant, but again I think there is always the thought of ‘we’ll get it together’ or ‘we’ll break one soon’ when it comes to OSU, because, well, we usually do.

Congratulations to Penn State on the 24-21 victory over Ohio State in Beaver Stadium on October 22nd. The team that wanted it more won the game, plain and simple. Fans can make excuses, and I pin the loss to Penn State more on poor coaching, but I believe Eleven Warriors’ Ramzy Nasrallah stated it best with this tweet on Saturday evening…
