So, last night’s live chat was quite the fun time, even if the turnout wasn’t all that great. For a while, we had all four of us there. We harassed a Swede, Kevin might have been pantsless and I may have been on drugs. (READ IT NOW.) After some thought, Kevin and I decided that since both our teams have yet to win a game, there should be some sort of crazy bet on the line. We didn’t clarify, but I think the loser has to sport a “Mrs. Tavares/Schenn” (depending on who loses) shirt in public, with photographic evidence.
There was also a three-way (bet) made between Kevin, Enforcer, and myself. At the end of the season, whichever one of our three teams (Islanders, Wild, and Maple Leafs, respectively) finishes the highest, wins. The second highest placer must write a post praising the awesomeness of the other two teams as well as the writers. The third place (double loser) contestant must make a video glorifying the two winners.
To clarify, if the Wild finish the best out of the three, Enforcer wins. If the Leafs finish above the Islanders, I have to write the post saying how Enforcer and Kevin are awesome and Kevin makes the video.
In other words, if the Leafs go the way they have been, I might have to work on my video skills…
