So Tom Compton who could never catch is going to be a Redskins Tight End of sorts

Baltimore 348
…but Ty Nsekhe, who has much more upside as a Tackle and is probably better** already as a Tackle than Tom Compton, has experience as a receiver post college.  Go figure.
From the Redskins website:
“As for Nsekhe, the 6-foot, 6-inch, 330 pounder was at one time doubling up as a receiver in the Arena Football League, hauling in eight catches for three touchdowns in 2011. Since transitioning to the NFL in 2012, though, he has only played in two games; his NFL debut coincidentally was against the Redskins.”
** At the time of this writing, Nsekhe appears ahead of Compton as right tackle on the team depth chart.
