Some fun facts about the Twins new pitchers

Mike Pelfrey: Last season, Mike Pelfrey pitched 19 innings before being sent to the DL

Rich Harden: Pitched a mostly disastrous 82 2/3 innings, but his strike out rate was good. His walk rate was bad. His FIP indicated a better performance than his traditional stats. Also, this was 2011. He didn’t pitch last year.

Kevin Correia: Pitched plenty last year. Hit 171 innings, the second most of his career. (That’s not really that many)

Vance Worley: Has never pitched more than 133 innings. Is actually listed right now as day to day with an elbow injury. What he is might miss because of it is beyond me.

Trevor May, Alex Meyer: Destined for catastrophic arm injuries soon enough.

The Twins added a bunch of pitchers, but look forward to a little Nick Blackburn action this year anyway.
