You know, it’s funny. Whenever the Pirates win like they did last night all I really want to see is them win some more. Is that so selfish of me? I get that that’s not very likely with Dan McCutchen making a spot start for Jeff Karstens tonight, but a man can dream, can’t he?

With the Pirates’ miserable season winding down and football picking up, Clemente/Cangelosi participation is waning. I’m sticking this through until the bitter end, though, and not just because I’m cleaning up on the second half. Last night dafletch picked up a point by nailing the Clemente runner up (Tabata), though he was the only point movement on the evening. Standings:
