What’s got me all tied up in knots? How bout the giant, gaping hole developing in the middle of our offensive line. Since Adrew Roxas was sidelined this Spring with the dreaded high ankle sprain, it has become apparent that we are disasterously thin at center. The only other option we seem to have on our roster that is even close to viable, redshirt freshman Sebatian Valenzuela, currently sitting out with concussion concerns. We are rotating a couple of woefully undersized guys through the center position, usually Chris Prummer and convereted tight end, Elliott Bosch. It’s only Spring, so we don’t need to go into full panic mode just yet, but this will be THE position I will watch carefully when fall camp gets underway. As I see it, without a healthy Jeff Tuel we don’t stand a chance of scoring points this year and it would sure help to have a center who can hold his own.
Get well soon, big fella… and STAY well. Please.
So tell me, Coug fans, what keeps you up at night?
