Sony Releases New N’Sync Album, The Essential

It now seems like long ago that the “Boyband Craze” hit its peak with the Backstreet Boys and N’Sync vying for the top spot in popularity. Now it’s become the solo artists geared towards pre-teens and teenagers specifically Justin Bieber.

N’Sync has not released a full album since 2001 with “Celebrity” though in 2005 a greatest hits album got released. Sony made the decision to release an album without the knowledge of the group and the album titled “The Essential” is a two disc set comes with songs that their adoring fans might not have heard while also featuring songs that already got released.

 Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and JC Chasez took to social media. With Bass stating “guess the label didn’t expect all our amazing fans to still be there for us! I hate my favorite When You Wish upon A Star got left off. This cd set really showcases the vocals which I really like.
