It has been 24 hours since the Gamecocks basketball team suffered a loss to basketball powerhouse Elon Phoenix by the score of 58-53 to drop USC to 1-1 on the season.

Time to cool off a little but the truth is the game was bad. South Carolina was 20-of-64 from the floor including 3-of-27 from the three point line.
South Carolina did not have a single scorer in double figures. Really the team looked lost at times.
Don’t try to blame it on a young team or bad shot selection. It boils down to poor execution with no true offensive scheme and the team having no leadership. Seems the problems of last season have carried over. I hope this was the worst we see from USC this year and it only gets better.
Coach Horn, the spotlight is on you buddy. This is your team and losses like this are not acceptable in your fourth year. Learn from it, taste it, look yourself in the mirror and start coaching your butt off to get this squad to where they are not the laughing stock of the SEC. I want to have faith. Make me believe.
