Spanish Soccer Team Puts Beds In Practice Facility, May Look to Sign Walter Sharpe

Jose Mourinho, European soccer’s version of Phil Jackson, has already made his presence felt at Spanish club Real Madrid by installing beds in the team’s practice facility, among other changes.

2008 Pistons draft pick Walter Sharpe, better known for his battle with narcolepsy than his actual athletic abilities, was very receptive to the move. “I really like what they’re doing over there. I don’t speak Spanish, but I think I’d be a great fit with them. I’m tall and fast, and I really enjoy a good nap.”

No one is quite sure what type of mattresses Mourinho ordered, but we can only imagine that one of soccer’s richest franchises would spare no expense for their superstar athletes.
