Sports Illustrated is rolling out some regional covers and one of them features T.J. Oshie of the St. Louis Blues and Adam Wainwright of the St. Louis Cardinals. The other covers featured Alex Ovechkin and Adam Jones and the duo of Anze Kopitar and Clayton Kershaw.
It’s nice to see the Blues and Cardinals prominently featured on the cover, but it’s tough to overlook the bit of text at the top of the page. You can see the full version here, but it says the Chicago Blackhawks will win it all.
Of course, the Blues cropped out that part when they shared the cover on their Twitter account.
