I forgot to post this last night. Got a little busy doing a little work and also grading the latest 24 episode. I have a few things on which to catch up on the blog and at work. I’ll do my best to balance both.
First, let’s head to a special edition of the Sports Media Weekly Podcast. Keith Thibault of Sports Media Journal and conducted an interview with our special guest, Kenny Mayne of ESPN.
For the entire length of the podcast, Keith and I broached Kenny’s illustrious career at ESPN, how he started at ESPN2 just months after it launched and how he managed to get to the Mothership after being told he wouldn’t make it.
In addition, we talk about his web series, Mayne Street which has gone into its 4th season. And we also talk about how he goes from doing his satirical stories to being a serious journalist when the time is necessary.
