Neal to play in Melo-Goodman League showdown

Neal to play in Melo-Goodman League showdownAfter helping the Goodman league defeat the Drew league last week, San Antonio Spurs’ Gary Neal will now be playing (H/T Eye on Basketball) with his home team, the Melo League, as they face the Goodman League on Tuesday evening in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Goodman league is comprised of players from the Washington D.C. area, but the Melo league, named after New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony, is a Baltimore based team.

Neal’s new teammates for Tuesday?

Neal will be teaming up with Miami’s Lebron James, Melo, New Orleans’ Chris Paul, Memphis’ Josh Selby, and Sacramento’s Donte Greene.

The Goodman league will be represented by Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, Boston’s Jeff Green, Milwaukee’s Brandon Jennings, Sacramento’s DeMarcus Cousins, and possibly Washington’s John Wall.

Though this matchup will feature more stars than the Drew-Goodman game, the event won’t be available to watch online. For Neal, he’s going to have the luxury of getting open three’s from Paul and James. Take in the moment Gary, take in the moment.
