San Antonio Spurs draftee Ryan Richards is ready to represent Great Britain’s Under-20 team at this summer’s European Championships in Sarajavo.
This will mark a year since Richards was forced to sit out following shoulder surgery and the Spurs see this as a solid way for Richards to rehab from surgery said coach Ron Wuotila:
“It hasn’t fitted with other things he’s had, including the Draft. But the Spurs see this as a good fit for his rehab. It’s a combination of him wanting to play, Ron talking to him and the guys on the team.”
Indeed this will be a great rehab situation for Richards who shows promise. Let’s hope he pans out and becomes another Spurs draft day steal.
