On Thursday, San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich called out his team for not being ready to play following their loss to the Chicago Bulls. 48 hours later, his team showed they heard his message loud and clear.

Kawhi Leonard scored 30 points as the Spurs ran away with a 130-101 win over the Brooklyn Nets at the AT&T Center on Saturday night.

Pau Gasol added 15 points while Tony Parker and LaMarcus Aldridge each added 12 for San Antonio, who bounced back from their first road loss of the season.

After having a season-low 32 points in the first half on Thursday, San Antonio responded by scoring 41 in the first 12 minutes – and having their highest scoring output of the season in the process.

The Nets struggled all game long, trailing by as 38 points. Bojan Bogdanovic had 20 points and Brook Lopez added 14 for Brooklyn (6-18), who never lead.

Up next: The Spurs are now 19-5 on the season and will have three days off before hosting the Boston Celtics at 8:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center on Wednesday night.
