Spurs take a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals beating the Cavs 103-92.
The Spurs let a huge lead slip away and the Cavs got as close as 8 points after being down by 29 at one point in the game. The Cavs went on a 25-6 run in the fourth but it was too much for the Cavs to overcome.
Leading the way was Tony Parker. He hit huge shots, penetrated, and finished at the basket to set the pace for the Spurs. Manu hit a huge 3 point play down the stretch to secure the Spurs victory. A surprise was to see Horry have a nice game. Blocking shots, hit a three, and all around hustle plays. He even took out Coach Pop during one hustle play.
“Joker” James was again a no show. Foul trouble and Spurs team defense limited him throughout the game.
The big three for the Spurs (Manu, Parker, and Duncan) were amazing. Each scoring 20+ points and scored 78 of the Spurs 103 points.
Now the scene shifts to Cleveland where the Cavs are tough. The Spurs will need to get the crowd out of it early and play with the same intensity as they did in San Antonio.
Two down, two more to go!
