Tonight, for the St. Joseph’s Hawks it’s put up or shut up time as they are fighting for their Atlantic 10 tournament lives. Currently, the Hawks are in ninth place and tied with the same 6-6 conference record as Charlotte and Richmond.  The Hawks have already beat Richmond earlier this season but have yet to play Charlotte.

In terms of tonight’s game, the Hawks take on the Saint Louis Billikens who are atop of the Atlantic 10 standings and who is ranked 18th in nation. For the Hawks to have a chance tonight against this 21 win team, their leading scorer senior guard Carl Jones must perform. Jones is averaging 14.7 points per game this season and versus George Washington last Saturday he had 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

St. Joe’s is not a bad defensive team at all only giving up 64.8 points per game so far this season. They should be better than their 15-10 record. The Hawks have the last three games including tonight to get on a roll and go into the Atlantic 10 tournament on a high note.

Tonight’s game can be seen on the CBS Sports Network at 8:00 pm.
