Stamkos Injury Update

According to TSN’s Bob McKenzie, Lightning captain Steven Stamkos is heading to Vail, Colorado  to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a lateral meniscus tear.

The estimate for recovery is four months.

Syracuse is a close drive to Buffalo, but so far no call-up.

Update: Steven Stamkos had surgery to repair the meniscus today. He is expected to miss approximately four months.
