It seems like just yesterday that Starlin Castro was questioned (or not) after a nightclub shooting in his native Dominican Republic and deemed to be, simply, “in the wrong place at the wrong time”.
Now, the Chicago Cubs All-Star is (or, depending on who you ask) being questioned in connection with another nightclub shooting late Friday night. This time, in his hometown of Montecristi.

According to reports, a number of folks were involved in the incident…including Castro, his brother and bodyguards. All told, seven people have been detained by the police.
Much like that last nightclub shooting that Castro was allegedly connected to, his agent was quick to respond.
“Starlin was not arrested or detained or anything,” Paul Kinzer said. “He went to the police station to make sure they knew he was not involved. They told him they had video so they knew he was not involved.”
Stay tuned.
