If you take a look slightly to the right, you’ll see a quick schedule and a rundown of the scores for the Buckeyes’ 8 games already this season.

Six times we scored 30 or more points, six times we won.  That’s pretty simple math.

But look back at the entire Ohio State career of Jim Tressel, and you will discover an amazingly similar stat.

• 2001 -Ohio State scored 30+ points 3 times, 3-0 in those games
• 2002 – Ohio State scored 30+ points 6 times, 6-0 in those games
• 2003 – Ohio State scored 30+ points 4 times, 4-0 in those games
• 2004 – Ohio State scored 30+ points 4 times, 4-0 in those games
• 2005 – Ohio State scored 30+ points 8 times, 8-0 in those games
• 2006 – Ohio State scored 30+ points 8 times, 8-0 in those games
• 2007 – Ohio State scored 30+ points 7 times, 7-0 in those games
• 2008 – Ohio State scored 30+ points 6 times, 6-0 in those games
• 2009 – Ohio State scored 30+ points 6 times, 6-0 in those games

So it’s that simple – when Ohio State scores 30 points or more, Jim Tressel wins.  He’s 52-0 in those games.
